Ask what to actually bring

It is a short conversation and it changes more than any other part of a London move. Tell us roughly how long you will be here and we will tell you what should travel.

Hours Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm. Saturday mornings. Anything sent outside those hours is picked up the next working day.

Quotes Begin on the quote form. No rate card appears here, because the horizon and the volume set the figure.

Send photographs of the London property

Rooms, doorways and the staircase, plus anything already in it if the flat is furnished. The property decides what is worth bringing far more than the address you are leaving does.

It is the single most useful thing you can send at the planning stage, and it regularly removes a third of a shipment before anybody has packed anything.

Mention anything already in storage

From a previous move, wherever it is. It usually belongs in this job, and consolidating it once is far cheaper than paying two arrangements to sit in parallel.

If something went wrong

Write and say so plainly. Your booking contract covers claims and the time limits on them, and we would far rather deal with it directly than leave you reading clauses on your own.
